Reviews
Blindead Newsletter #8, 2015, [written by Krogh. Distributed by Sound Pollution]
Holy shit, this is some brutal shit from Days of Desolation! Full speed, grinding at times and “just†raging at others. In their slower parts they’re still fast as fuck and the level of rage is constant in the the red. And the vocals are fucking ace, not the usual guttural growling, but screaming and roaring. I wasn’t prepared for this so this completely floored me! Four tracks of their own and the Nasum cover “Fear of the China Syndromeâ€.
OK, Social Crisis, the bar is set – can you deliver? Well, they’re not doing the same style really, but yes, they do deliver. This is more like raging crustcore and not so much in grind territory and in comparison, as you do on a split, they don’t reach the same level of aggressiveness as Days of Desolation. Still good though.
